I found out about a month ago that I have been accepted into the school of nursing at my college in Virginia! When I think about what the next three years have in store for me as a nursing student I am pretty scared, but excited at the same time. My dream is to be a missionary using nursing as my avenue of helping others. I know that helping those with their spiritual needs opens up an amazing door to show them their need for Christ. I want to be a nurse that helps others through the love of Christ. I want to be a nurse who displays the gospel in my actions by dying to myself every single day and live for my future hope of glory not earthly possessions or gain. I hope that this blog can encourage those going through nursing school and also be a reminder to myself of why I am going through it all!
